Most bets on India and England to win Trophy

The ICC Champions Trophy is seen as the ideal preparation for England and Australia ahead of the Ashes series and so far it seems to be England who are enjoying the prep more. They are the second favourites in the outright betting after a bright start, well ahead of Australia and only trailing India as things stand and the latest cricket betting tips reflect thebetting online

India are the 3/1 favourites at the time of writing after winning their opening game and OLBG's tipsters seemed relatively confident of a bold show from India ahead of the tournament as they were the best backed team with 38.5% of outright tips. OLBG member 'Welshie1' thinks this tournament sees several closely matched teams come together but he's backed India to come out on top as they always do well in this form of the game and tend to be there or thereabouts in this kind of tournament. He thinks India are the best overall team here and a good value bet at the price.

England will always have their backers and big things are expected of this English side in next month's Ashes series so it would be no surprise to see a bold show here from the 7/2 second favourites. They are the second best backed team in the OLBG Tipping Competition with 15.4% of outright tips and one of those most confident about their chances is member 'Tube180' who has a 6 month return on investment of 9.2% on his tips. He gave a concise write up with his tip for England explaining why he fancies them to go all the way:

"England are excellent at home over 50 overs having won 22 and tied 1 of their last 32 matches. New regulations nullify the powerplay to some extent and England look good value as hosts."

South Africa and West Indies also have their fair share of backers in the free to enter Competition, where there are over £5000 in cash prizes and over £2000 in free bets up for grabs every month. There will also be plenty of interest in England's next match against Sri Lanka and 61.9% of tips so far for Thursday's game has been for the home side. OLBG member 'TrevorWhitsey' has a very impressive six month return on investment of 30.4% and he fancies England to win at 8/13 because England have their conditions and great strength in depth whilst he doesn't think Sri Lanka are fully acclimatised yet.

The OLBG Tipping Competition prize fund for cricket tipsters will be boosted during the Ashes series by £200. Joining OLBG is quick and easy, all you need to do is click here and register by clicking on the orange register button at the top of the home page.
